i'm 2 computer-illiterate to post pix, but my unloaded '67 s.cab has 'bout the same
stance as Petie's early s.cab, i.e., whitewalls are just barely visible on rear tires.

Now an early bus has lower dog legs and rear wheel arches. That is my only concern. After this evening's trip on a few dirt roads... I want more tire! LOL That and something shook loose. I was on the battery about 1/2 mile from the RV. So now I have to trouble shoot something else. pics to come

Man I wish you were closer, I'd like to see how a set fit before I spent the money. I found some BFG ATs for $150 for 4. 80% tread

fronts fine...rear is close but it fits fine..ive been everywhere in this truck...backroads...salvageyards....tulsa...kansas....st louis...

nope not at all...i own two doublecabs and a singlecab and a bus thats lowered..and i drive this stock sc alot of miles.....but i also do lowered suspensions for a living so getting in the stock truck is just nice to get away from everyday work

Now just to find a set of 205/70 or 75 15s. The set of BFGs I found were 215. DOH!

215/75/15's fit but they are tight..but will fit...thats the biggest tire you can run on a stock suspension...i think moss (brandon) ran 215's on his camper...i really like the 205...i got mine at sears...k-marts now are owned by sears...i can order them from 60 bucks to 115 bucks each plus shipped..Image

i use the 67 dc everyday as well....tow a trailer with it..loaded down with transmisions...frontends...two kids..lugage...drove 200 miles...dont think you cant use a lowered truck...its just the sc has a larger load area....
