If I can ever get them off the Double-Cab, I'll be sending you the front brake backing plates for you to make beautiful again. Then perhaps later on I'll gather up all the engine tin from my 1952 25hp motor and have you do them too. You do nice work!

Hey Jerry,

I've got some brake hardware pieces and the backing plates for the front brakes on the DC that you can do pretty soon. I just gotta pull the front drums and brakes off the '59 DC and then you can take the front backing plates, etc.

By the way, you should go in and "edit" this ad to change the "re" to "powder-coating services available" or something like that. Nobody is trying to buy a "re"...

Jerry's services seem to be a great value, nice powder-coating at a reasonable cost. I've had all my 36hp engine sheet metal and a bunch of my brake backing plates and parts powder-coated in a correct satin black for my '59 Double-Cab restoration. It looks great, and should stand up to chemicals and abrasion for many, many years to come!

Give him a try! I like supporting local VW enthusiasts whenever possible! I'm a happy customer!

Jerry I'd like some seat frames from a bus all benches, blasted and powder coated in black. What kind of $$$ are we talking?

I'm only answering because I see that Jerry hasn't yet, and he'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he has a big enough oven to cook big bench seat frames? Jerry will hopefully let us know for sure soon...

Sorry for not checking in like I should, At the present time I can not do something as large as a bench seat. I am in the process of getting a bigger oven to do larger parts. Also need a larger oven for exhaust coating that is on deck!!!!

I will let you all know when that is up and running!!

Hi Jerry, I should probably get that 25hp engine tin set over there for you, and perhaps all the tin for a 40hp motor also. Love your work, can't wait to hear more about the engine muffler coatings.

I would love to have the front a rear bumpers of my beetle done. Will you be able to fit them in the big new oven?

I just went to Al Shelton's surprise 60th birthday party last Sat night, and lots of VW folks were there. Talked with Jerry and he is still building the new oven, and I think he said one of it's dimensions was 6 feet, so I'm guessing that once finished he'll be able to do some bumpers. I know he's also planning to coat mufflers with some heat resistant powder coating too.

Hey All,

Just wanted to check in, new oven is almost complete. I am still using my original oven and it works great. The new one is bigger and more efficient!! Let me know what you have and I will set you up an estimate and we can go from there!!

Hit me up, I could use the extra $$$.

Thanks,

Jerry
