Post Quartz Clock Repair Reference?
I have a gray face quartz (mid bay (did I lose everyone there?)) clock that I got for a good price. It doesn't run when hooked up to 12v but it shows no signs of water or other damage. It looks like it spend a couple years in a bus but is in great condition.

Are there any local (STL) places that repair quartz vehicle clocks?

I've already tried calling around at random to shops and it seems vehicle clocks live in a vacuum. The hardcore grandfather places are offended I would ask them look at a quartz clock and the shops that do quartz clocks say vehicle clocks are far too complex for them. The only place I've found in the midwest is an older guy outside of KC that does old domestic vehicle gauges.

I wonder if "Corona Ryan" out at "Orange Empire Speedometers" in So Cal might delve into that type of clock? He restored a few "trip" speedos for me, amazing quality, and I know he restores the Split-windhield Split-Bus clocks. Might be worth asking... Not cheap, but the very best services...
