you are probably talking about Motorcars which has moved. It is now in Valley Park on St Louis Ave. ph 636-225-2847. They haven't been answering all the time lately, good luck.

Thanks. If I remember correctly I called them and they pointed me in the right direction for my headliner. I tried to drive past the place that did my 59 I had. It was by grants farm in a garage behind a house. It appears to be gone now also.that was around 10 years ago. They did a great job at a decent price. Few places will do these bug headliners.

This is too weird cause I was going by there tomorrow to ask them the same question. Then I looked at your initials and said it can't be? I was going there cause (if I'm right) for you since your dad asked me to. I ALMOST went by there today. :x I wasn't sure till I looked at the pic of your bug on the trailer. Your old steering wheel is hanging in my garage.

I think the guys of "Motorcars" are at a new location according to something I recently read from the last Gateway VW Club meeting? Anyone know? can confirm? I wish the guys well, and hope they can make it work...

I spoke with Rich before the flooding and he was talking about moving to festus. I know that there is a shop on telegraph archway, but everything I have heard about them is bad. Actually, the story revolving the motor in my squareback and how I ended up getting it has to do with archway and not in a good way

I heard Bob N. passed away recently. Is that correct? If so, may he rest in peace!

Bill

UPDATE: Bob in fact passed away in either March or April of 2016. R.I.P.
