Post Need help pulling a motor and swapping it out.
I have to pull the motor in Lucy the Photobus and swap it out with one on my bench right now.
It's got a stripped exhaust bolt and the leak has caused all sorts of issues!
I'm putting the new engine together tomorrow evening, and I'll need help Wednesday pulling the motor and swapping tin and all that jazz. Then re-installing the motor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My garage near Gray Summit is the place, and 4:45 til whenever is the time.

Call or text if you can come help out please.

Some guy on craigslist posted he has a bunch of parts (including engines) today http://stlouis.craigslist.org/pts/4756189693.html .

I emailed him about front splash/pedal pans and he didn't have any but had engine parts (i think i might need a new fuel pump..think the mice & sludge may have messed mine up......anyway) don't know the guy from anyone, just random person online but it is a lead.

what's wrong with the exhaust stud that it can't be removed, tapped and replaced?

That's what Ted and I ended up doing last night. Thanks Ted for the help and thanks Brian for the suggestion.

Thanks man! We will see tonight how it holds up! I'll be down at 3rd degree Glass factory for their annual holiday ornament reveal party. That drive should test it just fine!
