Post Disc Brakes
Does anyone know if disc brakes are available through NAPA? I thought I have read that a karma ghia used the same disc brakes? Just trying to see if that would be the best route for me to put disc brakes on my 70 bug!

You should be able to buy the disc pads and rotors there. I doubt you can get the rest of the stuff there though. Yes, they are from a Ghia. I bought my kit on line. Fixing to buy the rears, with e-brake, for 309 on line plus 9.95 shipping. Got to watch the shipping. Car Craft hit me for 35 bux shipping on the fronts.

This is what I am ordering for the rear. Have to call and see if they will put the studs in for me.

I ordered the rear disc brakes today from the site you sent. Really wanted to get the front disc brakes to but need to spread out the purchases. Not far along from having it be a roller then it's all body work.

Great. It was the best deal I could find including shipping. I have not ordered them yet. Trying to locate the lug bolts now to put my Ford adapters on. They don't come with studs so I can use the bolts if I find 10 at a bargain.
Let me know what you think. Will order mine in a couple of weeks.

What do you think about them? Have you installed yet? I am going to order mine this weekend.
This will give me 4 wheel discs.

Awesome product. Installed them earlier this week. Posted some pictures on the introduction page. I am going to order my front disc brakes from them as well. Front beam should be here in a month.

Just pulled the trigger on the rear discs. Any problems running the E-brake lines? I have replaced lines on my drums so I should not have any issues.
Scrolling through the "Help" topics and it looks like I am the "neediest" guy on here, always looking for advise. But, I almost always get it. Still got a VDO oil pressure gauge reading backwards though.

Ran the lines through with no issues at all. Just check your spacers when putting on the discs to get the spacing right for the caliper

Thanks for the reminder. HAd to pull a front one off a couple of times to get the spacing right.
Will take pictures.

Well, they "shafted" me on the shipping. Raised it from 10 bux to 71 bux. Cancelled the order.
