Well, for those who knew and those who didnt...
I was born hard of hearing and gradually became deaf over the years. Just a couple days ago I underwent surgery for Cochlear implants. My activation will be Jan 2nd,

Yep yep, 12/2014 I got my first Cochlear Implant and 3/2015 I got my second, I am now Bi-Lateral or what we call Cyborg'd...lol

Very strange hearing sounds Ive never heard before and some I wish I still couldnt hear...lol anyways, recovery went great and I will be going for my 1 year combined mapping next week.

Amazing the costs of this surgery, combined $300,000. after insurance and all, out of pocket was $1,300. Scary to have your skull drilled into with a Dremel... but science is amazing.

Yes science is amazing. I've always liked it. The things that can be done today is crazy. Glad your deal worked out for you.
