i've become a hockey fan this year watching my local minor league hockey team the Mississippi Riverkings. i was looking into catching a couple of St Louis Blues games this year until i saw the price. is $135 for a decent seat or pay $45 for the nose bleeds the average price . can anyone in the St louis area verify these insane prices.

Billy, The seat prices vary with location obviously. You should be able to see prices at any location on the Blues web site. Our company seats are center ice in the lower bowl and the run $99 a piece. Of course that is the season ticket holder price for the whole season. As of today I have yet to see any tickets yet to tell you what the per game price is. (They usually have this printed on the tickets) These also can vary from game to game depending on who they are playing and if it is a weekend game or not. Just a couple years back the cheapest seats were like $8 a piece. Not sure what the nose bleeds are going for this year. A buddy of mine has third row in the upper deck and his seats are great. You have any dates in mind you were interested in?

my wife's birthday is 3-12 so we were looking at possibly catching a game sometime around then.
3-12-13 Blues vs. Sharks
3-14-13 Blues vs. Coyotes

Billy, I can get you some tickets at season ticket holder prices which can be a pretty nice savings but I only have until this friday to but them. I would just take you guys to a game but with the short season and the split we have on the tickets we'll end up with 12 games for the season which I have to spread around to our customers, i just don't have enough this year. Nest year for sure though if you are still into hockey then.

Anyway if you pick a game, section, price range you are looking for I can score you some tickets for a bit cheaper. Did you just want 2 tickets or did you need more?

I can't wait to see a Blues game... When the LA KINGS are in town to whoop some butt. Just saying I'm an LA KINGS FAN. 8) Know badwagoning here... been a fan since the 90s and never changed team or hinted to it. Like Red Wings fans... I stick with my team no matter how crappy they had been leading up to last season. Will they defend the cup this short season??? I sure hope so! Nothing would be more complete than a back to back Stanley Cup win!

To be honest HOCKEY has been my favorite sport since the 90s. I don't watch any other sports unless invited a super bowl party. I don't care who's playing who, unless it's the Kings vs ???. I will cheer for both teams if the Kings aren't playing. I just love the sport of Hockey. ;)

Ok, i was looking at new hoodie on one of these ebay stores and it was 60 bucks. i figured i could find one at wally world or someplace local cheaper. i know the walmarts here sell titans and grizzleys stuff.

i watched that game last night too. it got really good the 3rd period but the blues just couldn't come back.

have you checked ticket prices on stubhub.com? I've seen some pretty good ticket prices for pro teams on there.

Billy,

I try never to set foot in Walmart unless I have to so I have no idea what they sell in there.......almost any sporting store in town will have Blues apparel. I haven't priced shopped hoodies lately. Did you look at the Blue's store on their site? I'm sure they have hoodies there but they are most likely very proud of them.

Took William, my brother and his kid to the home opener last Saturday for the Detroit stomping :D Enjoyed last nights game on the couch. Got like our new Russian!

So Leslie and I are gonna do a STL trip on the 23rd/24th
Gonna hope the Amtrak from J.C. to STL ,stay @ the Union station hotel, catch the Blues game that night
We have not decided if we are going to catch the early 0915 train or the late 1600 train home?
If we catch the late we will need to kill a few hours .
Looking forward to it
